Anyone have experience with the B-Hyve controller

I know the Rachio is more often discussed and liked around here, but does anyone have experience with B-Hyve which seems to be MUCH cheaper?

What are the main differences between the two?

Anyone have a previous gen Rachio they would like to sell cheap?

Re: Zero Turn Mowers

I went with the Gravely because the comparatively same $$ wise seemed better built, thicker deck , and the bigger 3100 hydros.

I have had no regrets whatsoever with my ZT HD52. I

Re: Zero turn cut quality

I have a Gravely HD 52 and love it. It has many of the commercial qualities without the commercial $$ tag. It has the solid, thick welded deck and not stamped. It is solid and can be used as a step to get on the mower...try that with a stamped deck. It also has the bigger hydros like many of the com...

Re: Which sealant to fix an equipment tire that has trouble staying inflated?

Interested to see my different options here...

My ZT has one front tire and one front that needs to be topped off every couple weeks. It never goes down enough to visually notice, but is enough to affect the cut quality.

Re: Have you used an oil analysis lab for your used oil from your equipment engines?

Never for my equipment, I had actually never thought of it! I have done it a couple times for my Silverado and Mobil 1 synthetic oil...I learned that changing every 7500-8000 miles like I was doing was changing it too early. They suggested letting it go to 10,000 miles and resampling. Easy for them ...

How do you know when mower blade is sharp?

I am brand new to sharpening my own mower blades. I do know you don't want too fine an edge because it will weaken that edge, BUT how do you know when the blade is sharp enough?

Re: Blades

I switched over to the Gator G5's this year on my Gravely ZT from the stock blades. I do always run the mulch kit and chute blocker. The only difference I can see is a lot more clippings being blown out from under the deck and onto the top of the deck and onto my legs. As far as cut quality, I am no...

Re: Bassadict69's 2018 Lawn Journal

Sure looks good after mowing! I am keeping it at about 3.5" and having to mow every 3 -4 days. I hope to get a couple loads of river sand in the next week or so and try to smooth some areas out and hopefully coax the SA to spread a little more. https://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/bassadict69/Gras...

I spread a bag of Scotts Disease X (Grp 11) and a bag of BioAdvanced Fungus Control (Grp 3) on the thickest part of my SA yard and used the preventative rate on both.

Re: Ok to mix granular fungicides?

Scotts "Disease Ex" (Group11) and Bayer "BioAdvanced Fungus Control" (Group3) are the two I have, both granular to be thrown by spreader.

So far I do not see any fungus so this will be strictly preventative.

Ok to mix granular fungicides?

I have propicanazole and azoxystrobin, both in granule form. Can they be mixed and spread together?
