And if I decide to just get a new reel...

Jacobsen PGM22

Beginning stages of restoring my Jacobsen model 62269 greens mower.Took off the chain cover and discovered what I think is a very loose chain that drives the reel.Do I need to take a link or two off? or is it fine..just leave it be?Is there an adjustment that I'm not seeing that will tighten the cha...

Re: Did a mulch pile sitting on my grass for just 6 hours really kill it?

Ryeguy, I did the same as you but my mulch was left on my lawn for days.My effected area was way worse than yours. Was sure I had to reseed.I would just keep that area moist and continue to cut it to stimulate growth. We have had plenty of rain here in Ma. It's been 3 weeks now and the area filled bac...

Re: what fertilizer are you using?

I use Bay State Fertilizer.4-3-0.with 2% iron. Similar to Milo.Pick it up in Quincy Ma. where they make it.Usually get 30 bags at a time.Think I pay $3.50/40lb.bag.Covers 2000 sq.ft.But I go heavier!! Stuff works great.

Says it runs, but needs a clutch rebuild.Guy wants $100.00.Would parts be available and if so,would it be worth my while to fix it?One other thing.I was checking the manual and says it only cuts as high as 7/16"?Am I correct? If that's the case I would have to loo...
