Re: 2022 | What did you do with your lawn today?

Mowed the ryegrass at 1/2” and thankful to not be covered with snow. https://i.postimg.cc/Zq4xvXdC/E256297-D-A4-EA-4-CC9-848-B-6-E02-F762-E5-FA.jpg Also worked on removing the rock from the back patio border and moving to the side of the house with the A/C unit and replacing with something like liri...

Re: Cameron Smith

Looks like Swardman handlebars also… Yep. I missed that. Looks like there is a Stihl handheld blower on the ground behind the pressure washer? And the orange/black spreader is probably an Agri-Fab? Any guesses on the other set of handlebars you can see behind the Swardman? I’m gonna guess that’s a ...

Looking great!
Thanks! I like this .5” height and is good to see where needs leveling before the summer.

Re: Herring’s Front Lawn Renovation

Lowered the height of cut to .5” to see how the 11 blade reel will do at the lower height. Temperatures have been highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. https://i.postimg.cc/NjLsGVsg/60706-F37-F4-EF-448-A-84-C7-CA0-BB9-C525-BF.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/tCBRjyHS/611-DF506-9578-4-E32-A8-B7-BDBB895-D46-D...

Toro makes a clip kit, the description says that it alters clip frequency for an improved quality of cut at higher cutting heights. • Use for tee boxes, aprons and higher heights of cut • Alternative option to purchasing an 8-blade reel to reduce frequency of clip I’ve been looking for anything John...

What type of grass is this? Is it Rye?
This was Par Perennial Ryegrass, from @OD on Grass as well.

Re: Herring’s Front Lawn Renovation

The temperatures have dropped, still mowing at 7/8”, no fertilizer has been applied recently. I got quotes for Latitude 36, Northbridge, Tiftuf, and Tifway 419 as options with the Tiftuf being considerable more expensive than the others. https://i.postimg.cc/Fs7zRn5Y/BC774-BDE-57-FE-44-C3-B669-0-C56...

October/November 2021 Since I reel mow roughly 8,000+ sq ft, I was excited to run across a deal on a brand new 30" reel mower 70% off normal pricing. Only used a couple times before grass quit growing, but am excited to give it a shot next year. https://i.postimg.cc/2SxyLFY2/10-2021-New-Mower.png h...

Re: Herring’s Front Lawn Renovation

Lots of great weather around Christmas and in the 70s this week. Height is 7/8”, I’ve tried a few different patterns including a double wide that was all over the place. Next year I really want to remove that crepe myrtle to keep from having to mow circles around it. I think the lighter marks are fr...

Re: Lesco Spreader

Nice find!

I looked for a while on ideas to fabricate one of the deflector kits. Depending on what you paid on the used market the new deflector may cost more than the spreader. In the end I decided I only apply fertilizer with the broadcast spreader and didn’t mind some overthrow into the beds.

Recently added a digital antenna for the local channel college football games. For ESPN coverage I search “College Football” on YouTube and filter to live. Re: Battery backpack sprayer question.

I’m looking at the Flowzone and the My4Sons. For the pressure dials on these, do they say what pressure it’s set at? If a nozzle is designed to be operated at a specific PSI I would want to try to match that.
