Re: Lebanon Turf products feedback

They make good stuff but as mentioned above with 2” grass height you are not going to benefit much from the smaller prill size. Even the larger sgn stuff would work and generally is cheaper and easier to source.

Re: Pre-Em Specticle Flo?

I’m doing split apps and have seen no issues. I’m sure there’s some root pruning going on but it hasn’t slowed my grass down.

I’ve used these to load a classen aerator myself, just go slow and steady. If I had transport wheels for my 220e I’d drive it up. I don’t think the drum would get enough traction.

Re: Reel or rotary

I think you will have a hard time maintaining several reels with debris on that much yard. @Ware had a rough mower for a while and can give you the details on it.

Re: John Deere Dealer reel mower refurb

My JD golf dealer wanted $350 for a relief grind. I basically only use the dealer for parts I can’t find cheaper elsewhere. Make friends with your local golf course crew, they work on these mowers daily and are the best resource.

For 1200 you could re power and still have enough to replace the reel and any other moving part

Re: Thief with WiFi Jammer killed my cameras - Switching to Wired cams

WiFi Jammer - that's quite the stretch or not ? Any chance he might have disconnected your internet@the Demarc on however it enters the house ? That might be the most logical IMO The tech is out there and it’s cheap and portable . But as you said just a service disconnect will render wireless camer...

Re: Electric Reel Mower?

For your size yard I’d stick with gas. I went down this same path looking for a electric greens mower for my 10k yard and came to the conclusion that the tech just isn’t there yet or I don’t want to spend what it would cost. I almost ordered the Electra and am so glad they were back ordered and I ha...

Re: Reel mower w no transport wheels

The drum will survive just fine. I roll mine probably 150 ft on sidewalk every time I mow. I still have my axels on and should probably look for a set of wheels so I can load the mower into the truck myself. I’d own any color greens mower as long as parts where readily available and it was straightf...

I think I posted a comment on one of your vids to see if you were using growth regulators. If you aren’t it may be something to try out.

Re: N-ext Fertility and T-Nex

I spray tnex, a soluble 1-1-1, and feature without any issues. I have mixed in other products before and as long as you jar test it in the same mixing order you shouldn’t gum up your sprayer.

Re: Thief with WiFi Jammer killed my cameras - Switching to Wired cams

I have a unify dream machine(not pro). What i don't get with the dream machine pro is why the ports are not POE. it is a nice product but having it come with POE would be better There’s a new udmp se in early access that has Poe but if they haven’t updated the backplane then I don’t really see the ...

Re: Thief with WiFi Jammer killed my cameras - Switching to Wired cams

So I’m sure you know but the unify cams are a closed system. That was a deal breaker for me at the price they have them. If they were priced similarly to other Poe cams I could justify buying them. As for hard drives, some of the older wd element external drives used to have reds in them. I cracked ...

Re: Kitchen Appliances

I don’t have a Bosch dishwasher yet but make sure you are using a drying aid in any dishwasher as it really makes a difference on these newer energy efficient ones. Some parts can be swapped to make different models match your other appliances. Check with the manufacturer, some will sell the pro sty...

You can modify any of the husqvarna mowers to cut under the 0.8” minimum. Just need to put a spacer to lower the cutting disc.

Re: N-ext Fertility and T-Nex

It’s your money so I won’t tell you how to spend it but I would read the liquid fert thread before buying anything. For 8k sq ft you might want to build the Chapin push boom sprayer as you could spray without refilling. Go with the labels recommendations on carrier volume and irrigation. Foliar apps...

Re: Too late in the season to start correcting ph?

I wouldn’t apply any sulfur under 70F. Elemental sulfur requires oxidation to sulfate sulfur and that optimally occurs when temps are between 75 to 105⁰F.

You can do citric acid applications regardless of temperature.

Re: A tale of two sides; worms or fungus?

Looks dry, leafs are curled up. I dont see anything that looks like fungus and if you already treated for worms x2 then I don't think its a problem either. Have you done a true irrigation audit to ensure that area is actually getting the proper water?

Re: A tale of two sides; worms or fungus?

Your going to need to post up some actual photos of the turf showing the damaged blades. Are you on a fungicide program?
