Re: 2019 MLB Post Season

WOWZA! What an exciting ending!! Jose Altuve hit a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th to send the Astros to the World Series!! He is only 5 feet 6 inches tall, but that guy plays with so much determination and drive, he is really a great player. Tired today from staying up so late, but...

Re: Spread Ammonium Sulfate Fertilizer as First Fall Application for Bermuda

We were so hot and dry all the way to 2nd week of October that I didn’t apply anything after mid-August. Then the brakes got hit and we are high of 58 today. We are getting rain now but I’m just putting her to sleep for the year. I’ll chop leaves and run over the lawn a few more times to give an eve...

Re: Anybody going to GIE Expo in Louisville?

Just returned. Good meeting a number of you. It's amazing the amount and caliber of products that feed the professional lawn care market. I was able to get commitments for a few products to be sent to me for testing in 2020. Here's a clip with a few familiar faces in it shot by another Tuber. The g...

Dormancy Right After Drought...

I’m sure there are many in the south that are in the same boat. We had a massive drought in late summer that has been discussed here many times. As is typical in the south this time of year, rain is followed by cooler temps. We got our first rain in 6 weeks about 6 days ago and now nighttime temps a...

Re: College Football 2019 Season Discussion Thread

Only Alabama and LSU are still undefeated, so November 9th in Tuscaloosa will be an early championship game.... So you’re one of those only SEC counts fans? There are actually quite a few undefeated teams left in the country. I haven’t seen a team yet this year that looks impossible to beat. I thin...

I’m not sure that you’ll need as many catch cups to test the distribution pattern of that one.

You watching? I’ve been in the recliner, sitting on the floor, laying on the floor, standing, and watching from the kitchen. Good game so far. Definitely looks like you guys have the momentum and are starting to put some nice drives together. I can see you guys pulling away in the 2nd half. Is that...

Re: Chapin Electric sprayer question

I usually get a pair of my wife stockings, place it around the opening of the sprayer and use it to strain out the undesolved particles. I also mix in a 5 gal bucket first. How long of a pre emergent coverage do you get when she starts wearing them again? If I did that there would be no emergent fo...

That's ok. PSU will lose to everyone that matters. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. Is this supposed to be reversed physiology? They are undefeated 👌🏾 Nope. I'm referring to Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State and possibly Iowa. Thanks for throwing us bone at the end there.

Re: College Football 2019 Season Discussion Thread

A quick math lesson from my Hawkeyes: 3 interceptions + 8 sacks = a loss no matter how well the defense plays. I really thought we were going to take a major step up today.
