Re: Fall Prodiamine didn’t work well

I've had the same problem this winter. Check my journal for pre emergents I put down. I'm thinking either rain wash outs like Smokindog or it was my first time using pre emergents so maybe I need a full year control before I see great results. This winter was better than 2017 when I did not put any ...

Re: Bradley mowers

Thanks for the reply. Since you did not notice a difference between the blades I will cut with the standard, Bradley gator which comes from stens, and a stens high lift. I will post about any difference I notice throughout the season. I will always use the mulching plates because I do not want to th...

Re: Bradley mowers

I have two questions for you or anyone else can chime in as well x Wild Bill x What blades are you using on your Bradley? I'm looking to mulch so I have the gator blades and the plate. I have not put on the gator blades yet and I'm wondering how the cut would be with the factory blades. Second, how ...

I'm thinking of Leveling this season too, but I will wait until I cut the grass twice before I start. I will try to build my drag mat like @Pete1313
Are you planning on getting sand in bulk?
Yes, I think a dump truck load is six yards.

Re: N-Ext Products

I will try Air 8 & RGS this season. I will try to update my lawn journal with the good and bad from those products. I don't expect much if anything the first year though. We shall see.

My first cut should not come until the first week of March. Hopefully I'm correct so that will givee more time to plan for the season.

Re: Lawn coming out of dormancy early, actively growing...

I'm in Central Louisiana and I've notice we didn't really have a winter yet. Most of yard is brown, but I still have some St Augustine thats still green. This is a really weird season for sure. I'm now wondering how hot spring and summer will be.

Being honest this is something I wish I had never purchased. There's no way in hell you can get 100% percent coverage the way he explains it.

Re: CenlaLowell Lawn Journal

Weekend Jan 4-6 I've sprayed winter weeds with Roundup for Southern lawns, MSM turf, and MSO. We have a empty lot 0.25 acres next to me, I don't own this but I sprayed Celsius with MSO to back down all the weeds before they find a way to my lawn. https://i.postimg.cc/L8ghsfvz/IMG-20190108-132633.jpg...

Re: Pre-emergent, when and how often are you putting it down?

I put Barricade down in late November. I plan on doing another round mid-February. Are you all doing something similar or are you hitting monthly? I struggled last year with weeds because I didn't use pre-emergent and so I am hoping I got it right this year. Am I good with 2 apps as outlined or sho...

Dude you just bought a stander. I ban you from considering new grass
 I'm not going to buy it. I'm just curious of the cost compared to a pallet of flortam.

How effective will Celsius be against wild garlic and henbit right now?
It's labeled to kill both. I have this problem now and I'm trying roundup for southern lawns and MSM turf. I'm saving Celsius for the spring.

Re: 2019 | What did you do with your lawn today?

I have been following LCN, but also trying to figure out how much of it to follow. I will start a pre-emergent. In Central Florida, I guess I am supposed to get down some prodiamine in February. But I don't think our soil temperature gets below 55. So I am wondering if I should get it down now. I s...
