Re: Diamond in the rough or take it to the dump Reel Mower?

That’s what I was thinking as well. Thanks for confirming my first instinct. Just didn’t want to pass on this and later find out it was a deal of a lifetime. Thanks

Diamond in the rough or take it to the dump Reel Mower?

I have just seen this Reel Mower for sale online. I haven’t seen it in person but it appears to be stored outside and their is no description except the price $300! I’m pretty mechanically inclined but have never messed with reel mowers. I’m thinking it’s not worth the money or hassle to get it back...

Re: My Big Drainage Project!

Completely agree! I went through a house renovation and had to call nearly every single contractor back to do what was supposed to be done correctly. And like you said, some ended up being a no show, not returning my calls, or just repeated attempts to try to fix what they screwed up. I could go on ...

Weed ID

Starting to see a few of these in my centipede. What is it and how do I kill it. Re: Weed ID Thread - What is it and how do I kill it?

Is it Wild Garlic/Onion or am I way off? I sprayed MSM on it about a week ago. It grows in small little clusters, is fairly easy to pull up and darker than any other weed and grass. https://i.postimg.cc/5NCvRRdW/0-DCEAD4-F-668-C-48-A2-A21-B-7-F5-B360-D0-C31.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/prgjdDjS/2-FD3-E...

So if it is fertilized more in the dark green can I just lightly apply some to the light green grass to even it out?

Did I over or under fertilize?

Hello everyone, I would first like to thank you all for your advice in the past and for sharing all of your wisdom. I have another situation I would appreciate some advice on before I make a mistake. I put down 1 lb of N 3 weeks ago. I have a Scott’s broadcast spreader (I know I need a better one so...

Re: Is there a software or site for designing your own Irrigation system?

I used the free Rainbird design service and they sent me back a super detailed and accurate design. They include precipitation rates, nozzles, parts list, etc. Only downfall is it took them 6 months to send it to me and in the mean time I already paid a landscaper to install it. I would pay for the ...

Re: Rainfall

The “Pocket rain gauge” app by Agrible is pretty accurate but yes I agree the mounted rain gauge is the best. I just looked up the website Movingshrub mentioned and it seems really useful.

Re: Mole assistance

You can have moles without big mounds. That's mostly what I had. My plan is the scissor trap. What did you find to be the best method or eradicating? I've personally used the Trapline mole traps with great success. I use the Victor plunger style mole trap. The trick I have learned is to smash down ...

Re: Drainage ditch in yard

My thoughts exactly! I have a bag of Lesco 33-0-17 left over from last year so I believe I will start with that. Plans as of now are to wait a week or two to give it additional time to green up, scalp and bag, level out the sand, put down the Lesco same day, and use Milo on the next app. I’m fairly ...
