Re: Worth it to reno with tree roots everywhere?

I would create some nice planter around middle tree and over seed bare spots or as needed rest. I have same situation on my left far corner took me many years and deferent type of seeds to get grass going. 4th millennium and raptor ttf hold very well in there.

Well, you will need 3 lbs of the 0-0-31 per 1000 square feet. That is 90 lbs of product per applications. That is 10 gallons per application. My calculation has that at about 500.00 per application. Shipping the 0-0-50 is going to be cheaper.

Re: Low Potassium.

Is that a liquid? If so, you will spend a lot of money to raise the K on 30,000 square feet. I would recommend looking for a source of sulfate of Potash (0-0-50). A single application is usually 1 lb/1000 square feet of K (2 lbs/1000 square feet of 0-0-50). For your 30k square feet, you would been ...

Re: Warm winter, POA appearing

Looks like quite of few folks use Prodiamine. I've never used it but have had very good results with Dimension. Anyone have experience with both and found one better than the other? Thanks Both work great. I prefer dimansion just because it alway available at my store and it easier spreading than s...

1 app of AMP XC Enriched Pelletized Limestone 0.4Fe from siteone in spring and it will uniform color of the lawn even poa t will have deep green.
If it needs Lime.
If to apply on the maintenance rate it’s will not adjust pH on lawn but it’s real game changer on a color.

Rtf will spread and rpr spread as well. It need 2-3 season before it will start producing rhizomes but it way way slower spreading and filling comparable to kbg.

Why not to do dormant seeding or light top dressing with soil after spring pre-m and then seeding.

Time to teach those trash pandas a lesson in territoriality!
Or time to teach stupid neighbors to cover their garbage. Then again, it may be easier to try and teach the raccoons.
Definitely agree with you if I can I would relocate some neighbours and keep racoons.

Re: Raccoons got me!

You don't need to relocate or scare raccoons. I would check what’s in your soil. They dig only for food. Grubs, army warms or any others.

Re: Calendar next year

I watered twice a day (5am and 4pm) every single day after the seeding for 10 minutes until a few week ago when the temperature started to go down. I am thinking the PH is too low (4.89) to give the correct nutrients to the seeds. The old owner never spent time to have a nice turf, only me ;) When ...

Re: Color mismatch on overseed

I remove some parts of rhe grass at spring and lay new sod. The new sod was definitely different colour and that was my biggest concern. After fuew spoon feeds of milo and 1 app of AMP XC Enriched Pelletized Limestone I’m standing on the lawn I cannot tell the difference. https://i.postimg.cc/9fv7S2...

Yes, I'm 100% convinced it comes from seed in the soil bank following roundup. Why? I've pulled it from in between the bricks on my patio and also in areas around mature trees that I gly at least twice per season. I'm really familiar with annua in my yard and this stuff is not annua based on the lo...
