I havent had this weed before. I sprayed some in November with Crossbow. Killed it, but trying to figure out what it is.

When I did mine, I mowed and bagged as low as I could go. Slit seeded at 4 lbs/K Watered lightly as needed. I wanted to try and starve the existing turf, and only keep the KBG seed moist. 10 days after seed, used starter fert. I continued watering just enough to keep the new seed/seedlings moist. Su...

I did the same.thing last spring. Your water bill is going to be crazy!

Without seeing your property, and reading what you've run into so far, I'd be inclined to Glypho everything, bush hog it, till it, and start over

I would think it depends greatly on soil temperature. I thought seed needs consistent soil/ambient temps above 50 degrees F to germinate. Maybe if you had a very hard long freeze so the ground temps were cold enough, then spread pre-germinated seed mixed with potting mix? I'm sure more knowledgeable...

Pete with GCI turf is doing a bluemuda test plot at his shop. Search him on youtube.

He planted the bermuda this past summer. Overseeded half with rye and half with kbg.

Sure, or just rake the soil until its loose, mix in some compost, and seed to your hearts content
