I tried Cyzmic and didn’t notice an effect. Bought Stryker since then. May try that.

Neither glyphosate nor sulfentrazone cured my nutsedge problem. Puts a hurting on it but then it comes back. Certainty is working better for me.

Re: Seeding After Applying Humic DG

You don’t need to wait. Humic buffers the soil pH and frees up some nutrients while capturing others over time. Germination of your seeds won’t be effected one way or the other.

I just ordered the Chapin 3 nozzle boom to try out on the Flowzone Cyclone 2. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: ionicatoms lawn journal - Florida - St. Augustine (Palmetto)

Well, it's raining again. I decided to do some online shopping. First up is the Inzecto Mosquito trap. I've been waiting on these for a looooong time and it's finally on domyown (https://www.domyown.com/inzecto-mosquito-trap-p-24049.html). I ordered 2 of them to try out. Second up: I ordered the Cha...

Alright, the Inzecto mosquito trap is finally on domyown. I ordered 2 to try them out. The ceramic chips aren't out yet; obviously they are meant to be used together, but I'm hoping to see some positive results anyway.

Did you have any insights about applying the Dylox to the whole lawn versus just the affected areas?
I treated my whole front yard; didn’t bother with side or back since I wasn’t finding any problems there. Conceivably I didn’t need to treat the entire front yard. Judgement call.

This is what happens if you wait:

Details are in my journal.

I see no reason to wait to apply dylox (24 hour grub killer plus) after applying acelepryn (grubex).

Re: Combined Usage Of Preventative and Curative Grub Products

Sorry to OP but I'm going to kinda piggyback this thread as they may have a similar issue. @HungrySoutherner Every fall I get hundreds of tiny white moths, is that from a grub problem? How do I apply an insecticide to cure this issue? Thanks a lot!! Best practice is to identify the moth. White isn'...

Re: I need a backpack sprayer

IMO the biggest downside to the Flowzone is that it comes with the pressure washer style wand by default. As a home owner, I don’t find it to be a huge problem, but if I had to spray for an hour per day, 5 days per week, I think it would get to me. Poor ergonomics out of the box.

Re: I need a backpack sprayer

Lots of good options out there. If you are interested in repairability, the Flowzone is great, or it would be if all the components were readily available on the website.

If I was ready to buy another sprayer right now, I’d look to get the Typhoon 2.5.

Re: ionicatoms lawn journal - Florida - St. Augustine (Palmetto)

Today I continued the test of the Ortho WeedClear spray product. I sprayed doveweed and dollarweed. https://i.postimg.cc/634ykRp0/547-D2-E69-513-B-4-DDD-BCE2-BA88628-A0020.jpg Ok, so this yellow top gets a 👎 from me. To be fair a sprayed it on … the wrong stuff? I dunno. It’s basically weak sauce a...
