Re: Idech Power Rotary Scissors / Landscape Blade (Seago International Discount Offer in OP)

I had a buddy ask me if the PRS would work on his Stihl FS-40C. I assume not since it’s a curved shaft, but can anyone confirm?

Re: Firearms of TLF

I waited 34 weeks for the grey and blue JP Enterprises side charge rifle to come in. JP rifles are a joy to shoot. Since I’m used to top charging an AR, the side charge doesn’t feel natural yet. https://i.postimg.cc/P53pZ3rp/8-B73-E30-D-E9-D8-4852-8545-6478-FB2-C6-BE6.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/XqSyqr...

Re: Deltahedge Fulshear Texas 2021 Lawn Journal

How are your sprigs looking? The sprigs themselves look great amd have taken root and started growing. However, the actual sprigged area doesn’t look all that great. I needed to use a much higher sprig rate. The small areas that were sprigged the heaviest look fine but lighter areas will take a whi...

Re: Ware’s UTV Sprayer

…Now to internally debate using a solenoid valve . $43 isn't bad. I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't go this route. That would be a great upgrade. I would love to have 1, up to 3 of those solenoid valves on my 5 nozzle setup. If I only have one, I would use it to shut the boom off at the end...

Re: F1 - Grand Prix

Not sure how many F1 fans are out there but interested on your thoughts on the Belgium Grand Prix this past weekend. Torrid rain all day. There were several delays in getting the cars onto the track for formation lap. Finally got a formation lap, but the start was aborted. About three hours delay, ...

Re: Robomower Owners - Talk to Me!

How big is the section of zeon you are trying? If its under 10k just get the husqvarna 310 and you can modify it to cut 0.5" and not drop more money on a larger unit. Up to about 3 acres. I'll probably be waiting a few more years until I cant get the GPS guided mowers without wires. But, I need to ...

Re: 2021 Bermuda to PRG overseed

Question for you PRG Overseed veterans. Do you still mow it twice a week? Does it take as much time to maintain as warm season grass in the summer growing months? (Herbicide, Fungicide, Fert, Mow) I really think PRG looks awesome, but I have a treehouse project to work on this winter, and I could us...

An automower is going to work much better with zeon than a rotary because its going to keep it managed and the blades are sharper. It will be very close to a reel in terms of cut quality.
Thanks, this is exactly what I was hoping to hear.

Perfect! I already have the agri-fab/Ohio lawn sweeper. You can even offset mount it so that you don't drive over the cores first.

Re: Ware’s UTV Sprayer

That is a great looking sprayer set up. I bought the foam marker on Amazon day as well, but I haven't thought out a way to mount it to my 41gal northstar trailer yet. Does your UTV use an alternator or a ZTR type of magnet for charging the battery? I'm wondering how many electrical things I can hook...

My guess it probably works much better on a green than it would on a fairway or lawn.
Good point

Core Hog Core Collector

Has anyone ever used an attachment like this? When I aerate, I need to collect cores on a large area and if something like this works, it would save me a ton of time. https://www.precisionusa.com/mStorefront/itemDetail.do?item-id=203443&order-quantity=1&customer-item=6101075&order-uom=EA&warehouse-i...

I just ordered this from R&R for $34, hopefully it will fit the R&R backlapping unit.

Re: Robomower Owners - Talk to Me!

Does anyone use a robo-mower with fine bladed Zoysia like Zeon? I have a few test spots with Zeon, and I really like it compared to my Bermuda. But, the areas of zeon that get reel mowed look much better and give me fewer problems than the Zeon sections that get rotary mowed at 1.5". I'm not sure if...

Re: Sprayer Tank Rinse Slow Roll

Depending on the product, I would be concerned about spraying out what amounts to mostly water over an area that has just been treated with the proper dilution of a chemical. To be clear, I would not rinse and spray over the area that I had just sprayed. That would nearly be the equivalent of an im...

Re: Sprayer Tank Rinse Slow Roll

As I mentioned in the other thread, right or wrong I single rinse, and not with a full tank - just enough to slosh around the tank walls and then flush the lines. I'm not too worried about trace amounts of anything I spray being in the tank the next time I spray, and I don't drink out of it. :) Yea...

Sprayer Tank Rinse Slow Roll

I didn't want to derail another thread, but someone mentioned that they don't like rinsing/emptying spray tanks. I share this disdain for rinsing tanks. I have 3 acres on my lot, but I only do decent lawn maintenance on about 3/4ths of 1 acre. I typically mix up about 30 gallons of spray mix in my 4...

Re: Weeks Turf Auction | Aug 25, 2021

I actually get more annoyed emptying the sprayer than I do filling it. Damn NIS is a PITA to get out of those things. Ha, this is so true. I enjoy calculating and weighing the products out. I even enjoy filling the sprayer and mixing it, and letting it agitate. I enjoy driving around while I spray ...

Re: Deltahedge Fulshear Texas 2021 Lawn Journal

You switching your whole yard to zoysia? I’m not quite ready to make a leap like that yet. I want to see what this section looks and feels like first. I also want to see what kind of disease pressure I have with the zoysia. I haven’t mentioned it, but I also have about 150 sqft of Zoysia planted ri...
