Re: What shows do you watch?

Two episodes into Umbrella Academy on Netflix. First episode was pretty good, second one was meh. Hoping it picks up a bit once they finish the backstory bits.

Re: Wet shaving?

The Rockwell 6S is definitely a great way to go. I kinda wish it had the quick adjustments as something with a screw-end adjuster, but its not like it takes a long time to change them out as it currently is.

Re: 2019 | What did you do with your lawn today?

Still too cold out to scalp, so I shined up the roller with a wire brush and removed a little rust on some of the accessible surface areas of the 220A, hopefully I can repaint the frame and chain covers this week. I thought about giving the roller an Evaporust soak, but I wasn’t sure how the bearin...

The Commanders/Apollos game had almost 30k people there today!
That's pretty good. Some of the other crowds looked pretty sparse.
25k people in a stadium that holds 70k is always going to look sparse, unfortunately.

I'm constantly loosing interest in the NFL so I can't see the AAF being any better since it's run by the same league. I think Arena Football looks a lot more exciting than the AAF.
The AAF has no official NFL affiliation.

Re: Handle bar tape

I'd definitely go with grip tape for a road bike. Plus you can get a lot of different colors and patterns. It's also pretty cheap.

Also, measure the diameter of the bars. You make be able to use standard bike grips.

Re: San Antonio, TX - when to scalp

In Helotes here. It's time. I gave my lawns a cut yesterday, but not full scalp yet. Just wanted to get a good look of what I am working with this year. Full blown deep scalp will be later this week.

Re: FItness, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding

Lifting and cardio will definitely be a part of my weight loss. Just have to buckle down and get it all going. I have a decent home gym setup. Power rack, rogue fitness barbell, flat bench, deadlifting platform, and about 600 lbs of weight. For cardio, I have a mountain bike and a road bike, with an...

Re: FItness, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding

Merry Christmas y’all. Keep moving in the right direction! 😁 I need to get back on the wagon. I have been stalled at 230 lbs since before Thanksgiving. Life and work has made it hard to keep up with things, and my discipline sucks. Planning on being a resolutionist and get started again with liftin...

Re: FItness, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding

I dropped 17 lbs in 3 weeks on keto. I'm in a bit of a stall. I've been stuck at 230-231 lbs for a week now. No big deal though. I'm sure things will improve. I need to do some more cycling. Either MTB or my road bike. But work and family has kept me from being able to do that lately. I have an el c...

Re: What are you doing.... NOW?

Browns are definitely the most interesting team in the NFL. I agree. Their defense is out of this world, and the offense could go either way. But knowing about Baker's personality, I don't see it being all that bad. 8-7-1 is believable, but I'm expecting more around 6-9-1. Either way, it'll be a fu...

Re: What are you doing.... NOW?

Moved the TV into the garage to watch the Bengals. Kids watching Daniel Tiger! Ran a cat 6 Ethernet direct to the TV and it works great. I'm watching redzone right now. My Browns played Thursday, so this is the best way I can keep track of the Bungals and the Ratbirds at the same time. It is crazy ...

Re: Home Theater

gijoe4500, I also have a BenQ projector though a different model. Still going on the original bulb - not sure how many hours on it - I'll have to check. I ended up replacing my bulb at around 7000 hours. It finally popped. Replaced the entire bulb housing too, because that's the usual recommendatio...

The Bermuda looks dead, but it's just scalped. Couldn't mow for over two weeks because we got over 18" of rain in that time. Will bounce back quickly

Re: 2018 - Warm Season - What did you do with your lawn today?

Not today, but yesterday.... After 2 weeks of REALLY wet weather (18+ inches of rain), I finally got to mow my lawns. Had to take the rotary out there before I could mow with the reel. Scalped a lot just because we had so much growth. Didn't have much of a choice though. Plus, another hurricane is s...

Re: Home Theater

That looks fantastic @PNW_George! I can't wait to have a dedicated theater room. Its one of the very few things I've told my wife that i MUST have in the next house.
