Looking for affirmation on weed identification. @rmengel I agree. Doesn't look like nutsedge to me. The two photos even look like different weeds. First one closer to a crabgrass and second one closer to tall fescue. I'm not very confident in my weed identification skills though.

Thanks all. Since I planted a mix do I start tracking by the first day I noticed the earlier PRG germination (about 9/3) or should I go by the later round of KBG germinations which I am speculating was yesterday (9/7)? Same question for first mow. Do I mow as soon as the PRG wave is above 2in or wai...

8/15 - Killed off my existing lawn with roundup 8/29 - Scalped dead grass with mower, used harley rake to get to dirt. Seeded the SS5000 sunny mix (60% KBG, 20% PRG, 20% fescue). Rolled seed into soil. Ran out of daylight. 8/29 night - Heavy rain. Was worried that the seed got washed out a bit. 8/31...
