Re: Ryobi Discussion Thread

Has anyone had to use the Ryobi warranty? I’d be curious to hear how the 3 years has played out for someone. I’ve gotten everything registered. I did have to call for parts. That was ok. Took about 5 weeks to get the parts. I bought the demo circular saw at Home Depot for $25. Got it home and realiz...

Re: Ryobi Discussion Thread

I have been very happy with ryobi tools! I have drills, impact drivers, brushless circ saw, brushless angle grinder, multi Tool, and impact wrench. I love the impact wrench for tires etc, plenty of power! I keep it in the truck for trailering the boat. The multi tool endlessly proves it self as the...

Re: JT's 2019 Reno

Ah.....The dreaded seed heads!! It gets a little better as the stand matures. My reno from 2017 is nowhere near as stalky as the one from last year.

My wife put a Waterhog mat on the grass "just for a few hours". No big deal. It was out there to dry.

Re: Eley Hose Reel Review

I've got 100' of 3/4" never kink (another "dont know why I thought that was a good idea") backing up a 100' of rubber craftsman 1/2". Would I need the expander kit? "Never-Kink" was a brilliant name for those hoses. If the name actually described the product, they would have called them "Kinks in 1...

Re: Eley Hose Reel Review

Do these disconnected from the mounts for winter storage, or how does everyone go about winterizing these reels? I'm also on the bi, tri-yearly hunt for a reel, the inflatable tire cart I picked up at menards is starting to leak and the tires don't hold air any longer. Don't really know why I thoug...

Re: Ryobi Discussion Thread

I've got the 18v Ryobi reciprocating saw. I've used it a lot this year. Works great. I bought a Metabo (formerly Hitachi Tools) because it was on sale and came with a nice hard case (a rare thing these days). I still might buy the Ryobi version for quick jobs and keep the Metabo in case I'm cutting...

Re: Ryobi Discussion Thread

Pretty sure both Milwaukee and Ryobi are made be Techronic Industries, along with some other brands. That is right. Techtronic makes them both. I watched a little of the video review for the new Ryobi 3/8" ratchet and it was compared to the Milwaukee which obviously has better specs. I might go in ...

Re: Ryobi Discussion Thread

I've always thought Ryobi was a cheap, overly plastic looking Chinese brand but they've really stepped it up with their 18V system. They make a quality tool for DIYers at a great price. I don't have that many tools right now, but I intend to go full Ryobi as I start to acquire them. Really looking ...

Ryobi Discussion Thread

A place for Ryobi stuff. So far I've got the 6.5" circular saw, 1/2" impact, air compressor, spotlight, pole saw. I've got one 4ah battery that came with the impact and 3 2ah batteries. These only get occasional use so Milwaukee and DeWalt are too expensive. I'm going to add the 3/8" ratchet which j...

Re: What’s Your Favorite Cologne?

I have ~250 different fragrances. Some would call that a problem, but I like having options. My favorite is Guerlain Heritage (EDT over the EDP). It's not something that the younger crowd would gravitate towards, and it's a bit more formal (not a shorts & t-shirt frag IMO). But it is awesome ...

Re: Moles

Thank you for your reply and we thought it might be. My husband has laid some traps but it seems they are not working as each day it seems worse. He’s now ordered some different ones hopefully they will work. Thanks again for your help. The trapline traps are some of the easier ones to work with. A...

Thanks for the recommendations. I gave the family a few of these ideas. I'm letting them pick. We'll see! No idea  any good? Yea they're good  Nautica, the cheapest one I have Nautica Discover. It's pretty good but doesn't last long. I just learned the difference between eau de toilett...

My dad always wore Lagerfeld - sentimental to me but I think it’s good.
That’s an interesting one. Never heard of it. Funny how you can remember cologne/perfume smells from younger days and it triggers a memory.

What’s Your Favorite Cologne?

I’m thinking about asking for a new cologne for Father’s Day. Need some ideas. I’ve had Polo Black but never the Green (original). Any ideas welcome! Hopefully something under say $60.
