Re: Perennial rye, looking sorry for itself
Have you fertilized to help it fill in? I'm not sure about mowing lower to encourage thickness. Fertilize and water. The thickness in the pictures looks good to my eye.

Re: Perennial rye, looking sorry for itself
What is your season right now in New Zealand @Thelawnmasterproject?
I would dare to say that the stalkiness of ryegrass is fairly normal. I seem to get it every year although on the more mature stand of grass it was less so.
Welcome to TLF!!!!!!!

Re: Pennstater’s 2019 Lawn Journal (Starts Page 32)
Lawn is basically asleep. Cut about a week ago and no growth since. I cut today but more so to mulch in the last of the leaves. Maintenance is all done on all the equipment. I've had some deer in the yard nibbling on the burning bushes so I bought bird netting and covered them and the new knock out ...

Re: Knee Wall Insulation
I wouldn't even know how to get to that area! I just don't want to end up with any moisture issues as I don't have any right now. Thanks @Grass Clippins

Re: Knee Wall Insulation
I'm not sure what the black board is. Surprisingly the knee wall area is very dry despite no visible venting anywhere. I'll use the baffles as they pretty cheap. The house has gable vents on each side and a ridge vent. No soffit vents. That's why I've been debating on the need for baffles.

Re: Knee Wall Insulation
Thanks @Grass Clippins. So the Roxul goes up against the L channel and the air gap is just behind the Roxul. I'm definitely confused with all of this. And then you used fir strips to secure it in?

1st picture is where the venting would usually be. In most videos you can see some daylight here.

Insulation for the celling. No eaves or soffits on house. Only gable vents.

Knee Wall Insulation
Does anyone know if I need to use baffles on the sloped ceiling before I put insulation there in the knee wall? I can't see daylight when pulling back the insulation where the floor meets the roofline. So I'm not sure if it is venting there. The house does have gable vents. https://i.postimg.cc/8kt6...

Re: Mole Traps
finally caught the mole that has been wreaking havoc through out my lawn. I tried earlier in the spring and summer to no avail. I have been trying to catch him again for the past three weeks. Today, I set the trap, and within three hours, it got the scissors. Bye Bye Mr. Mole. https://i.postimg.cc/...

I have a Toro Snowmaster and haven’t had any issues with snow sticking. Not sure what the underside of my mower deck looks like.

I believe "Why Smart People Make Big Money Mistakes" is claimed. Just waiting on an address.
That leaves just "The Intelligent Asset Allocator".
