Not much rain in July at all, actually where in a drought here. I am trying to keep it out of dormacy being its first summer. Been watering about every four days with a 1/2" of water at a time. I have not put anything down since the middle of June and it needs fertilizer and a iron app but waiting f...

Been eyeing blue note as the cultivar of choice for a monostand. It's is a clear top pick in Michigan. The fine leaf texture and earlier spring green up is of particular interest to me. I don't know why but your mazama and bewitched i can clearly see a difference in that the mazama is darker, in my mix i can not tell the difference and believe me i have tried. If your looking for a dark kbg, take a look at mazama its very dark and no.1 in shade. I have bewitched in my blend and can't see color difference after 1 year it is as dark as the other two.

You could try mazama but be warned it is a very dark green. Mazama is the no. 1 rated kbg for shade.

I just bought a still edger this month and i really like it. There is plenty of power and it was $260.00 ( 56ce home owners model ). Might be a good investment for you.
