Another spreadermate question

Post by Shizzlestix66 »

Thanks to everyone in the forum I'm now a proud owner of a new lesco 80 lb spreader and a spreadermate B with upgraded pump. My question is what teejet nozzles is everyone upgrading to. I'd like to have a set for pre m and one for herbicides. I know I seen a thread on this but I cant seem to find it. I'd like to run the same color nozzles to keep the output the same. Just not sure which ones to go with. I'm looking for a normal output per 1000 sq/ft. Give or take a little.

TT11004-VP is a good all-around nozzle. For soil applied products, I like the AIXR10004-VP. Both use the 114441-*-CELR Quick Cap.

Just a tip - Make sure you get the correct quick caps for the nozzle you want to run. They are not universal! Nothing worse than going to swap to a new nozzle type and realizing you have to wrong caps for them! People like me have been forced you use caps that don't match the nozzle color too. I survived, only barely, twitching the whole time I was applying and it had nothing to do with the chems in the tank. :ugeek:

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered 4 aic11004 vs and 4 xrc11004 vs this morning. I did some more diving into the threads and found where Ware was running the same ones. I like the fact it's an all in one nozzle with the quick connect built in. I'm not sure of it matters but I went with the stainless tip inserts. Figured I've already spent 1500$ on the rig setup, why not get the nicer tips.

I had caps 25612-3-NYR Quick Caps noted for the TT11004-VP nozzles. I can't remember which thread I seen it in. Will these work also? I'll be needing some nozzles & caps for PGR applications this summer.

Yes, there are two sets of part numbers. It's confusing - some companies still use the 25612-*-NYR, but I think 114441-*-CELR is the newer part number. Sprayer Depot has a note on the 25612- product page that says it has been replaced by the 14441- part number
