Sprayer with two nozzles

Post by Gilley11 »

Anyone here use a 2 nozzle setup with their backpack sprayer? I'd like to be able to have something with a wider swath but going to anything much larger than 4 gallons doesn't make sense for my size yard.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing, esp since my sprayer pumps our 75+ psi and could use tamping down. I've been eyeing this boom for a quick mod: https://www.domyown.com/chapin-2nozzle- ... 11499.html

+1 on the Chapin 2 or 3-nozzle boom.

Man yeah that's what I was thinking. I saw the 3 nozzle and was wondering why it's so much cheaper than the 2 nozzle. Just out of principle I was going to get the 3 nozzle and turn it into a 2 😂. Also, I've got a Jacto sprayer. Anyone know if they are compatible with Solo or Chapin parts?

I would get the 2-nozzle. I have the 3-nozzle and it works, but even after some additional mods it doesn't quite have enough oomph to push all three nozzles properly. Any little spec of debris (happens to me a lot when using FEature) in one of the nozzles will cause it to start dripping vs. fanning out.

I have it on the 4 gallon Chapin 24v and also the 4 gallon Chapin manual pump.
