Crossbow Herbicide

Will Crossbow be safe to apply to a Bermuda lawn right now? It’s a mix of 24D and triclopyr. The Bermuda looks dormant.

its Just something I have on hand and wanted to see how it would work

Is it totally dormant? If so, Crossbow will work. You only need 4 teaspoon or 3/4 oz per 1000 sq ft. Be aware that this is a volatile product. IOW, the 2,4-D is not good about staying where you sprayed it. It evaporates in warm weather and damages everything around. Your ornamentals, your neighbors ornamentals. Be aware.

I don’t see any green at all in the Bermuda. We got down to about 29/30 last night, so I’m thinking it is. Hopefully. Lol.

But I’d only be using it in the next week or so. Just need to kill off all the weeds. Buying a house and trying to get a jump start. The home owner is ok with it. We don’t close till maybe March 1. Really hate to not get pre-m down, etc lol.
